Sonora, Ca — The Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department was recently notified about a Sonora business selling glass smoking pipes that are often used to inhale methamphetamine.
The Tuolumne Narcotics Team made a visit to the business, and found the pipes on display for sale. The pipes were in boxes marked, “Happy Valentines Day,” and contained an imitation rose.
The Sheriff´s Department reminds residents that it is a criminal offense to possess such smoking devices, and it is also an offense under the Health and Safety Code to sell these items.
