Spicer Reservoir Fire Considered Minor

Sonora, CA — The U.S. Forest Service is fighting an acre-and-a-half fire two miles due south of Spicer Reservoir and two miles northwest of Donnell Lake.

Sonora Dispatch Center Manager Bill Barrios reports a helicopter will work the fire until dusk this evening and a hand crew will be sent in tomorrow.

Barriors adds there is “not a lot of potential to this one.”
