Sonora, CA — 29 year old William Shavers of Modesto picked the wrong time and the wrong place to be involved in a verbal confrontation.
Sunday morning during the two o´clock hour a Sonora police officer noticed Shavers apparently being involved in a dispute on S. Washington St. near Lionberg. Once contact was made, a records check revealed an active warrant for his arrest for domestic violence out of Stanislaus County.
After the arrest was made, a piece of cellophane was located on Shavers´ person that contained methamphetamine.
Shavers was booked into the Tuolumne County Jail on a domestic violence warrant and possession of a controlled substance.
