Valley Springs Area Fire Now Estimated At 50 Acres; Firefighters Stop Forward Spread

Valley Springs, Ca — A vegetation fire in the Valley Springs area, near Hwy 26 and Escalon Belotta Rd., is now estimated at 50 acres in size.

CAL Fire reports that crews have stopped the forward spread of the blaze. All air tankers have been allowed to return back to base. Numerous firefighters, however, still remain on scene. No structures are at risk.
