Sonora, CA — It´s not exactly a major storm, but snow has finally visited the Mother Lode after a long, hot summer.
According to the National Weather Service a snow advisory will remain in effect until six o´clock this evening. Snow accumulations of from two to three inches have been reported in Yosemite above 9,000 feet. The snow level will lower to around 7,000 feet later today with an additional two to three inches above 8,000 feet.
