Update: Power Outage Impacting Part Of Calaveras County

Update at 3:05 p.m.: PG&E reports power has been restored to all 226 customers. Further details on the outage are below.

Update at 2:10 p.m.: PG&E crews have determined that equipment issues are to blame for a power outage in the Avery area of Calaveras County. Initially, it impacted 283 customers but that number has dropped to 226 that remain without electricity. Additionally, the company has pushed back the restoration time for those customers to 3:30 p.m.

Original post at 7:30 a.m.: Avery, CA — PG&E reports that there are 283 customers without electricity in the Avery area of Calaveras County.

The power outage started at 6am and PG&E is hoping for full restoration by 10:15am. The cause of the outage is under investigation. It is impacting customers in the Lakemont Pines subdivision, including Lakewood Drive, Evergreen Drive, Pine Lake Drive, Valley View Drive, Circle Drive, McKenzie Avenue, and Menominee Drive.
