Joie de Vie Raises $50,000 For Sonora Regional Medical Center

Murphys, CA — The seventh annual Joie de Vie celebration at Ironstone Vineyards turned out to be one very successful evening Sunday.

$50,000 was raised for the Sonora Regional Medical Center´s Cancer Patient Support Fund. The fund will provide cancer patients with transporation, day care, house cleaning and any other activity that will help relieve the patient of emotional and/or financial stress while undergoing treatment.

In addition, Sonora Regional Medical Center President and CEO Lary Davis presented Tuolumne County resident Pete Kerns with the Irving J. Symons Award symbolic of his selfless and generous giving to the Mother Lode community over many years.
