Yosemite, Ca — An exhibit that showcases the photography of Glen Denny opened Friday afternoon in the Yosemite Museum Gallery.
“Yosemite in the Sixties: Climbing Life Through the Lens of Glen Denny” consists of 83 historical black and white photographs chronicling his climbs between 1961-71.
According to Yosemite officials, Denny began photographing the Yosemite landscape in the tradition of Ansel Adams, but soon focused his camera on climbing and on the social scene.
The exhibit will be up through January 27, 2008. The photographs in this exhibit appear in the book, “Yosemite in the Sixties.”
