Sonora, Ca — Much to the pleasure of children across the Mother Lode Santa Claus flew into Standard Park Saturday afternoon at 12:15 aboard the PHI Air Medical helicopter based at Columbia Air Base.
The sixth annual Santa Fly-In proved to be another great success as hundreds were on hand. Children had a chance to get a Polaroid picture and candy cane, and most importantly, were able to tell Saint Nick what they would like for Christmas.
The popular event was sponsored by Sonora Regional Medical Center, Golden State Cellular, PHI Air Medical and Tuolumne County Ambulance.
Following the Standard Park event, Santa flew to Sonora Regional Medical Center to visit children unable to attend to noon-time festivities.
Santa´s Fly-In was presented by AM 1450 KVML, Today´s County 93.5 KKBN, Star 92.7 and Mymotherlode.com
