Sonora, Ca — On Sunday night, officers with the Sonora Police Department were dispatched to the 400 block of S. Stewart St. because 47-year-old Brenden Kiefer Jeremiah Chriss had allegedly brandished a firearm for no apparent reason.
“Officers located the suspect standing outside the apartment complex,” says Lt. Mark Stinson. “They asked him to raise his hands, and he refused and started walking back to the apartment complex. Officers demanded that he stop, which he didn´t. So, they had to physically take him to the ground and handcuff him.”
After Chriss was restrained, a loaded .40 caliber hand gun was located on his wasteband. He was booked in Tuolumne County Jail.
