Sacramento, CA — With the spread avian flu in Asia and Turkey, California health officials have released a draft plan today to deal with a potential influenza pandemic.
The plan is expected to discuss how the Department of Health Services will collaborate with other agencies to detect the virus´s arrival and prevent spread of the disease.
The draft of the plan will be open for public review and comment through February 15th before being officially adopted this spring.
