Sonora, CA– Motorists are advised to use caution while driving in the snowy conditions.
The National Weather Service says a low-pressure system will keep temperatures unseasonably cold through President´s Day. Widespread snow showers are expected to continue through today expecting five to ten inches of snow for the higher elevations and two to five inches above 1,000 feet by this afternoon.
If traveling in the high country officials suggest carrying tire chains and checking the latest road and weather reports before heading out.
