Storm System Causes Hazardous Driving Conditions

Sonora, CA — Although the winter storm warning for the Mother Lode is over, the California Highway Patrol says there are still dangers on the road.

Brad Schultz with the CHP says high winds, wet roads, and low snow levels do not make for the best driving conditions.

Over the course of Monday night, roads were flooded, tree limbs blocked driveways, and power lines caused many hazards.

Schultz is advising motorists to use caution while driving, due to another storm system expected to hit the Mother Lode Wednesday.
