Chinese Camp, CA — A routine probation search has left a Chinese Camp woman facing several charges.
The Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department says the Tuolumne Narcotic Team conducted the search at a trailer on Highway 49 Monday.
During the search, deputies say Janice Klaas was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine and smoking paraphernalia.
Sheriff´s reports indicate Klaas was on felony probation already and was arrested and transported to the county jail, where she was booked.
Deputies say people on probation are often subject, as terms of their probation, to being searched by law enforcement at any time with proper cause.
