San Andreas, CA — First 5 Calaveras has announced monies are available for school readiness programs in key Calaveras communities.
Any non profit, public or private agency can apply to use the funds for readying kids for school.
A task force of the Calaveras County Children and Families Commission will review the applications.
The money comes from Proposition 10. Since the year 2000, First 5 has given over $1.5 million to local programs.
