Sonora, CA — A Twain Harte woman and infant are recovering today after a hail storm caused her to lose control of her vehicle Tuesday.
The California Highway Patrol says 43-year-old Darla Duckworth was traveling on Highway 120 when the hail storm hit, causing two to three inches to accumulate on the road.
CHP reports indicate Duckworth lost control and slid into the center divider. The vehicle then rolled down an embankment.
Duckworth and her six month old passenger were transported to Memorial Hospital.
