Sacramento, CA — California lawmakers are considering a bill that would require all convicted sex offenders to renew their driver´s licenses.
The reason; their whereabouts could then be tracked. According to the author of the bill, Assemblywoman Rebecca Cohn, a Democrat from Campbell, there are approximately 17,000 sex ofenders in the state whose whereabouts are unknown.
