Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Bust Of San Andreas Residents

Valley Springs, CA — A routine traffic stop by the Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department Tuesday morning revealed more than 28 grams of methamphetamine.

Reports indicate 40-year-old Donald Luft and 26-year-old Jacquelyn Jarvis were traveling on Highway 12 near upper Double Springs when deputies stopped them.

The Sheriff´s Department says the two were in possession and planning to sell methamphetamine.

The San Andreas residents were booked on $250,000 bail. The investigation is ongoing.
