San Andreas, CA — Calaveras County is getting set up to administer its own medical marijuana identification cards.
Public Health Department officials will ask the Board of Supervisors to approve the idea Monday.
Cards would cost $45. The county would be the local administering agency for the identification card program through the state Department of Health Services.
The board may also adopt a limit on possession of no more than eight ounces and cultivation of no more than six mature or 12 immature plants.
