San Andreas, CA — It´s been 100 years to the day since the 1906 Earthquake hit San Francisco and at the end of the month a collection of photos from that day will be featured at the Calaveras County Museum.
Former Mokelumne Hill resident Edith Irvine was 22 years old when the quake hit. She grabbed her camera and took these all too real photographs of the destruction.
The exhibit opens with a reception April 29 and will run through May.
Other photos by Irvine will also be featured.
The museum is on Main Street in San Andreas and is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Daily.
