Sacramento, CA — The California Assembly is scheduled to debate a bill today that could ban manufacturers in the state from selling ultrasound machines to anyone but a licensed medical professional.
Democratic Assemblyman Ted Lieu wrote the bill after actor Tom Cruise announced he had bought an ultrasound machine so he could see his unborn daughter.
