Sonora, CA — Thursday´s calf scramble and Calcutta will make for a very fun evening according to Mother Lode Round-Up organizer Al O´Brien.
The rodeo tradition raises money for the Sheriff´s Posse Scholarship Fund, which provides college money to Tuolumne County high school students.
The teams of two will be auctioned off at the Calcutta and if they win the calf scramble, the team, as well as the bidders get to split the purse.
The event is free to the public and will take place at the Sheriff´s Posse Grounds in Jamestown at 6:00pm.
