Yosemite National Park, CA — A flood watch will remain in effect for Yosemite National Park through Monday morning.
The National Weather Service says the combination of above normal temperatures and melting snow over the higher elevations will allow water levels along the upper Merced River to rise to near flood stage for the next several nights.
Residents, campers, and hikers should closely monitor water levels along the river and heed the advice of Park Officials when and if evacuations become necessary.
