San Andreas, CA — Poll workers are needed for Election Day in Calaveras County.
County Clerk Karen Varni says not a lot of people have shown interest in taking on the task.
Poll workers work from before the time the polls open at 7 a.m. to after they close at 8 p.m. A small stipend is given for their time. The only requirement is that they be a registered voter.
Workers are needed at Black Creek Park in Copperopolis, the Veterans Hall in Valley Springs, the IOOF Hall in Jenny Lind and at the Good Samaritan Church in Rancho Calaveras.
