Copperopolis, CA — Folks can dine and dance their way to raise money for charity this weekend.
A dinner dance will be held Saturday for the Copperopolis Parks and Recreation Summer Day Camp. The camp program is June 19-23 with room for 60 children.
The tri-tip dinner is at 6 p.m. at the Armory. Entertainment will be provided by the Copper Holdings Band. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at Central Sierra Realty, True Value, the Espresso Stop, and the Copperopolis Library. There will also be a raffle and auction.
The money raised this weekend will buy material and pay for the rental of Black Creek Park where the camp will take place. The cost is $20 per week. Some of the money will also be used to sponsor kids who can´t afford the camp.
