Stopping The Glassy-Winged Sharpshooter

Berkeley, CA — University of California researchers will study new ways to prevent the glassy-winged sharpshooter from laying eggs on ornamental plants.

Nursery owners are taking part in the study to prevent the pest from traveling to new locations. The sharpshooter carries a plant disease that kills grapevines and other crops.
