Sonora, CA — A MiWuk Village teen is facing several charges after a fatal accident Tuesday night.
The Highway Patrol says 18-year-old Timothy LeCompte was driving drunk when he allowed his truck to travel off the right side of Highway 108 west of Crabtree Road. Reports indicate the truck hit an embankment and rolled over.
An unidentified teen suffered major injuries as a result of the collision and died at the scene.
Two other teenagers as well as the driver were taken to local hospitals for treatment. LeCompte was arrested for driving under the influence.
