Foundation Announces New Board Members

Angels Camp, CA — The Calaveras Community Foundation is welcoming two new directors to its board.

Marge West-Haviland of Mountain Ranch and Sal Manna of Burson were recently elected to the Foundation´s, now 11-member, board.

West-Haviland was co-founder and executive director of the Big Dipper Community Circle in Alaska, a nonprofit dedicated to renewing and sustaining healthy communities.

Manna is the president of the Society for the Preservation of West Calaveras History.

Foundation President Susan Crosson says she is pleased to have such experienced people join the effort to improve the quality of life in Calaveras County.

The foundation would like to add 4 more board members, in particular from the communities of Copperopolis, West Point, Mokelumne Hill and Arnold.
