James Oliver Stahl, AKA Jim or JO, passed away peacefully at his home, in Jamestown, September 26, 2025. He was beloved by all who knew him. JO was a graduate of Sonora High School (year of 1969) and a longtime employee for PG&E. He retired after 45 years with the company. After retirement, he played golf weekly with other retired friends and his brother John on occasion. JO was an animal lover. He had a pony named Amber and his 2 cats Jack and Suki.
JO was preceded in death by his parents Jay and Marty Stahl and his sister Barbara. He is survived by his brothers Bill and John, sister-in-law’s, Genie and Debbie, Uncle to Michael, Jared, Jeremiah, Daniel and Megan, and Great Uncle to Barby, Javan, Chase, Levi and Gabby.
JO was a caring and kind soul, funny and loving to his family and friends. He will be missed tremendously.
The immediate family will be holding a Grave site service to honor his memory. A celebration of life to be held on a future date.
