Richard Vernon Berry, born December 26, 1926 in Arizona was called to Heaven by his Father Monday, April 10, 2023. Richard lived at Adventist Health unit 6 in Sonora, California. Richard was married to Dawn Berry of Soulsbyville, CA for 45 years. Former Member Elks Lodge Sonora, CA Former Member SIRS of Sonora. Richard enjoyed family get-together dinners, he also loved pontoon boating, and traveling. Military service: U.S. Navy Nov. 1945-1947 honorably discharged Yeoman Third Class. Served during World War II, and received the World War II Victory Medal from President Harry Truman. Recreation in Navy: Boxing. Cremation is planned and a private Celebration of Life with Military Honors will be planned.
