Anthony “Tony” James Njirich, 18, of Sonora, California, born May 17, 2006, in Santa Clara, California, passed away August 22, 2024, at San Joaquin General Hospital in French Camp, California, from injuries in an auto accident in Tracy, California.
Anthony James Njirich, Tony Njirich, “Tony Lifts” was a beautiful young man that was very well known in the Motherlode Community. Tony was an incredible athlete, dreamer, friend, son, brother and child of God. Tony is survived by his mother Jennifer Njirich, father Anthony Njirich, older brother Jeremy Lovell and younger brother Carson Njirich. Tony aspired to always do his best and learn from the best. His dreams were so large, but the best dream of all was becoming a true man of God. People remember Tony for his talent in soccer, football, basketball, cross country, and wrestling; but mostly for his incredible strength. Tony lifted more than double his weight, he would challenge anyone in the gym. Most of all Tony wanted to mentor others and to be a big brother to other kids. He was absolutely gorgeous, so it is only imaginable what he looks like in his heavenly body. Tony loved the Lord so much and we are so proud of the lives he touched among his short time on Earth. He will always be remembered and cherished.

TONY LIFTS
The sunshine of your glory Lord shines upon his face,
His lifted hands stronger than any lifted weights,
For Tony to deny himself and live just like the boss,
He had to represent by caring his cross,
Any battle of renewing grew its mind of Christ,
Plans to prosper, plans for joy were all his righteous choice,
Underneath the waters, a new seed quickly grew,
A new spirit in the body of Christ that made him whole and new,
Tony lifted up as soon as he was called,
He started on his new career to fight in the spirit’s halls,
We wait for the Lion of Judah to come save his Bride,
Tony got a front row seat, right at his Holy side,
Fly among the angels’ love, you will be truly missed,
No one will ever forget the legend of Tony Lifts.
A Celebration of his Life will be held Sunday, September 1, 2024 at 4 PM at Sierra Bible Church, 15171 Tuolumne Road Sonora, California.
