John William Bezanson Jr. passed away peacefully at his home in Sonora surrounded with love. John was born April 22, 1956 in Rescue, Ca to John and Thelma Bezanson. He spent his childhood growing up in Amador County, Residing in Pioneer, and the majority of his adult life residing in Washington and Oregon working in the timber industry, and expert at operating heavy equipment, and scrapping iron. John love family, enjoyed music, dancing, mechanical challenges and spending time on the Laughton Ranch. John grew up the only boy in a large family with ten sisters. James Laughton was his confidante and they shared a bond that only brothers can have. John is survived by three sons. Robert John of The Dallas Oregon, John William Bezanson and Nicholas Bezanson of Washington, six grandchildren, ten sisters, Hazel Loper (Ron), Gail King of Sacramento, Linda Kenerson (Ron) of Rancho Marietta, Sandi Marcantelli (Rich) of Rio Vista, Shirley Dillon (Paul Leishman) of Pioneer, Ruth Beedie, Joan Ayers of The Dallas Oregon, Connie Grosse of Pecan Gap Texas, Dorothy Pierce (John) of Chickeshaw Ok, Charlotte Beck (James) of Sonora, his brother at “heart” James Laughton (Bobbi) of Jackson, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. John will forever live in the hearts of those who knew him. Tuesday, March 8th. Heuton Memorial Chapel are handling the arrangements.
