C. Erik “Gus” Gustafson passed away Thursday, May 3rd at his residence in Tracy, CA, surrounded by family. A graduate of Summerville High School ’47 and UC Davis ’52. He married Ellen Lepape of Sonora, CA., in 1952, raised his family in Tracy working as an exterminator for Paramount Pest Control. After retirement, he served as Safety Coordinator for Applied Process Cooling Corporation in Modesto. He was also an avid gardener, a voracious reader and he loved fishing in the Sierra backcountry and cruising to Mexico and Alaska with his wife. He is a Past Master of Mt. Oso Masonic Lodge and a member of the San Joaquin Chapter of Eastern Star, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Tracy. He is survived by his wife, Ellen, son Carl, daughters Julie Schneidewind and Carol Dunn, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home are handling the arrangements.
