Fire Damages Commercial Building In Groveland

Groveland, CA — At around two o’clock Monday morning, there was a commercial structure fire along Second Garotte Ridge Road in Groveland.

The 4,000 square foot building was fully engulfed in flames when the first responders arrived on the scene. Firefighters aggressively knocked down the flames and contained the fire to the structure. Crews remain on the scene this morning investigating the cause and fully extinguishing the blaze.

Agencies that responded include the CAL Fire Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit, Groveland Community Services District, Altaville-Melones Fire, and Tuolumne County Fire.
