Mariposa County Teen Missing For Over A Month Located

Mariposa County, CA – A 15-year-old Mariposa County adolescent who went missing more than a month ago and was believed to be on his way to Utah has been located.

Detectives provided few specifics about his location, beyond that “Eric has been located and returned to his family.” As we reported here in October, Eric Brown was last seen around 8 a.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at his home on Highway 140 in the Cathey’s Valley area. Brown’s picture and description were given, and it was revealed that what he was wearing when he left his house remained unknown.

Additionally, at the time, investigators relayed that Brown may be heading to Utah, but he had no known connections to the state. It was not disclosed if he was found in that state.
