House fire in Angels Camp - CAL Fire Image
Update at 7:05 a.m.: The Angels Camp Fire Department has an update this morning on an early-morning house fire in the city yesterday.
Firefighters battled the blaze in the six o’clock hour on Friday in the 1400 block of Myrtle Street as flames were pouring out of the home. Fire officials now report that the house was a total loss. Luckily, there are no injuries reported. What ignited the blaze is under investigation.
Original post written by BJ Hansen at 8:51 a.m. on 3/6/26: Angels Camp, CA—Firefighters from various agencies have been working to extinguish an early morning house fire in Angels Camp.
It ignited at around the six o’clock hour in the 1400 block of Myrtle Street. There are no initial reports of any injuries. CAL Fire reports that “crews are making great progress and will remain on scene until the fire is fully extinguished.”
Be prepared for continuing activity in the area.
