Anderson Fire in the Sonora area of Tuolumne County—PG&E live camera
Update at 11:42 a.m.: CAL FIRE reports that the forward spread of the Anderson Fire, a vegetation fire in the Sonora area of Tuolumne County, has been stopped at a half-acre. The flames broke out in the 17630 block of Yosemite Road, near Andreson Road. The CHP reported that it was started by a person using a lawnmower. All aircraft and incoming resources have been called off. A small crew will remain on scene working towards full containment and then mopping up for a couple of hours.
Original post at 11:25 a.m.: Sonora, CA – CAL Fire is reporting a vegetation fire on Yosemite Road in the Sonora area of Tuolumne County.
It has been named the Anderson Fire. Air and ground resources are working on a vegetation fire that broke out in the 17630 block of Yosemite Road, near Andreson Road. CAL Fire reports that the fire is a half-acre in size and moving at a slow to moderate rate. There is no word on whether any structures are threatened.
The CHP is reporting that it was started by a person using a lawnmower. An update will be provided as soon as new information comes into the newsroom.
