Update: Mann Fire Ignited Off Highway 108

Update at 11 am: The forward progress of the fire has been stopped at 20 acres. Mop-up efforts will continue this morning.

Original story posted at 10:30 am: Jamestown, CA — There is a vegetation fire in the area of Highway 108 and Green Springs Road.

It is east of Tulloch Dam Road, and about 20 acres in size, according to CAL Fire. Additional resources have been requested to the scene.  There are some structures nearby, but no evacuation orders have been issued, per the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office. Be prepared for activity in the area.
