Power mostly restored July 27, 2026
Update at 4:05 p.m.: Power has been restored to nearly everyone after a total of over 3,914 went without after the Court Fire started. PG&E has restored power to both Columbia and East Sonora with 32 remaining without power in the areas near the Dove Fire.
Update at 3:45 p.m.: An additional power outage is impacting customers in the area of the Court Fire. In East Sonora, where evacuations have been ordered, 2,637 more people are without power. PG&E estimates they will have power restored in this new area by 9:30 PM.
Original post at 2:35 p.m.: Sonora, CA– A power outage is impacting customers in the Sonora and Columbia area. The outage is impacting 1,277 customers. The power outage started close to 1:20 pm with PG&E reporting that crews are “evaluating the electrical system to identify damaged sections and make necessary repairs in order to safely turn the power back on.”
The estimated restoration time is 9:30 PM.
