Update at 3:57 p.m.: Below is the list of updated mandatory evacuations due to the Court Fire.
Update at 3:53 p.m.: The forward progress of the fire has been stopped.
Update at 3:44 p.m.: Highway 108 and Lower Mono Road are reopened with slow traffic and gridlock in the areas impacted by the Court Fire.
Update at 3:35 p.m.:Â The fire is now estimated to be 10-15 acres in size, with good progress being made by responding resources.

Original post at 3:09 p.m.:Sonora, CA– Firefighters are on the scene of a new vegetation fire that is located Near Highway 108 and Old Wards Ferry Road in Sonora. The fire is reportedly 5 acres in size and burning at a moderate rate of spread. Multiple residential and commercial structures are threatened. Additional air resources are headed to the scene. CHP is requesting that Highway 108 be closed at Mono/108 and Washington. The Tuolumne County Superior Court and Camp Justice are under mandatory evacuation orders.
