Fire In Sonora At Fairgrounds

Sonora, CA — Fire Fighters are on the scene of a vegetation blaze in Sonora. The flames were sparked in some grass on Stockton Street and South Forest Road. There are reports several trees are involved in the blaze near the back gate of the Mothre Lode Fairgrounds. We will bring you more information as soon as it becomes available.

Update 5:30pm: CAL Fire reports the flames are out with only a patch of grass and shrubs burned inthe blaze.
