North Tuolumne Restricted at HWY108

Twain Harte, CA — North Tuoumne Road at Highway 108 is restricted to residents only. Tuolumne County Sheriff Officer Scott Johnson, “There is no immediate threat, and the highway is open.”

No evacuation orders have changed the fire fighters and emergency personnel need the road closed to use it to transport fire equipment and other vehicles and supplies on roads in Tuolumne.

Residents will need to provide proof that they live off of North Tuolumne Road at Highway 108 in order to be allowed on the road.

Black Oak Casino says, “Access to Tuolumne City is currently restricted to Fire and Law enforcement services, local residents and Black Oak Casino Team Members. Black Oak Casino remains open on a limited basis for the Casino floor and the Black Oak Café only. All other venues, including Seven Sisters, will remain closed for today.” They also note on their website that “The Hotel at Black Oak Casino Resort is fully booked this weekend accommodating our Fire fighters and Emergency services personnel. We thank them all for the magnificent job they are doing in protecting our community.”
