Tuolumne County, CA — Tuolumne County Schools will be closed for the remainder of the week.
T.C. Superintendent of Schools Joe Silva says it is at the advisement of the Rim Fire commander, Tuolumne County Public health, and the Air Pollution Control District that all Tuolumne County schools will be closed this week.
Silva stresses it is for the protection all students health and safety. They will continue to monitor the Rim Fire and update the status of when students can return to the classroom.
One reminder: There is no school on Monday as it is Labor Day.
