Two BAER Meetings Now Scheduled

Sonora, CA — There are two opportunities for the community to get an update on what the Burned Area Emergency Response Team is noticing in the Stanislaus National Forest.


The BAER team is leading the ecological restoration effort of the burned area impacted by the Rim Fire. As reported previously, a meeting is scheduled for 7pm this evening in the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors meeting room. Just announced this morning, a meeting will also be held Monday, September 23, at the Groveland Community Hall at 7pm.


The meetings are sponsored by the Tuolumne County Office of Emergency Services, and will focus on the initial findings of the BAER Team.
