No Cause, But Costly Damage

Confidence, CA — Cal Fire is still investigating what sparked the flames at the Confidence Inn and Bar, but they estimate the cost be around $250,000. Firefighters were called to the business on the 23000 block Highway 108 in Tuolumne County at 5:30 Monday morning. When they arrived flames were shooting out of the building. Cal Fire says there was fire damage to the restrooms and smoke damage throughout the building. Highway 108 was shut down for more than an hour and traffic was detoured to Middle Camp Road. There were no injuries and the cause is still under investigation.
