Vegetation Fire In Tuolumne County

Jamestown, CA — Firefighters are on the scene of a vegetation fire in Jamestown. Cal Fire reports the flames broke out in a field behind the Oak Hill Apartments on Preston Lane. There is no word on rate of spread or whether any structures are threatened at this time.

 Update: 5 p.m.: Cal Fire reports a tanker is on the scene.


UPdate 5:10 p.m.: Cal Fire reports the blaze is contained at 1/4 acre.  No structures were threatened.
