Hunters Fire 500 Acres: Evacuations

CAL Fire reports that the Hunters Fire in Mariposa County is up to 500 acres.

CAL Fire reports that approximately 100 homes are threatened in the Hunters Valley area, so mandatory evacuations are in progress for that part of Mariposa County. The fire started at around 3:30pm near the intersection of Hunters Valley Road and Bear Valley Road.

One structure has been destroyed in the incident. Firefighters will remain on scene for an extended period. Click here to view a map of the area.
