90% Containment On Hunters Fire

Mariposa County, CA — Cal Fire reports that the Hunters Fire is 90% contained and remains 677 acres.

All evacuation orders have been lifted. At one point there were over 900 firefighters on scene in Mariposa County, but the number has dropped to 756. A total of eight injuries have been reported and three structures have been destroyed. Full containment is expected by Monday.

This morning there are still 29 crews assigned, 65 engines, one helicopter and four dozers.
