Vegetation Fire In San Andreas

San Andreas, CA — Firefighter and Columbia Air Attack are heading to a vegetation fire on the south side of San Andreas.  The flames broke on the 300 block George Reed Road. There is no word on size, rate of spread or whether any structures are threatened at this time.

Update 4:10pm: According to Calfire it is currently 25 acres in size there are some structures in the area that are threatened. Highway 49 is shut down at the old airport outside San Andreas at Buckskin Way Road. There is significant traffic backed up in the area.
