Yosemite, CA — Yosemite National Park will commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Yosemite Grant on Monday, June 30. To celebrate the historical event, there will be a ceremony in the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias at 10 a.m. Plenty of dignitaries will be on hand for the event.

The Yosemite and California State Parks Mounted Patrol will assist in the ceremony. There will also be a groundbreaking for the Mariposa Grove Restoration Project. In addition, the park has several other events planned throughout the day, including a Park’s Heritage Fair in Yosemite Valley, and a Park’s Heritage Ceremony with California States Parks at 3:00 p.m.
